At ALTMOD, we strive to provide quality products and a satisfactory shopping experience. This Return & Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which returns, exchanges, and refunds may be accepted.

1. Eligibility for Returns

Customers may request a return if:

  • The product received is defective.
  • The wrong item has been delivered.
  • The product significantly differs from its description.

Return requests must be submitted within 7 days of delivery.

2. Non-Returnable Products

The following items are generally not eligible for return, exchange, or refund:

  • Made-to-order garments.
  • Altered products.
  • Products damaged due to customer misuse.
  • Products without original tags, packaging, or accessories.
  • Clearance, sale, or promotional items unless received damaged or defective.

3. Return Conditions

To qualify for a return:

  • The product must be unused and unwashed.
  • Original tags and labels must remain attached.
  • Original packaging should be retained.
  • Proof of purchase must be provided.

ALTMOD reserves the right to reject returns that do not meet these conditions.

4. Return Request Process

To initiate a return:

  • Contact ALTMOD customer support.
  • Provide:
    • Order Number
    • Product Images
    • Reason for Return
  • Our team will review the request and provide further instructions.

Approval of a return request does not automatically guarantee a refund.

5. Refunds

Once the returned product is received and inspected:

  • Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method.
  • Refund processing may take 5–10 business days, depending on the payment provider or bank.

Shipping charges, convenience fees, and payment gateway charges may be non-refundable unless the error occurred on our side.

6. Exchanges

Exchanges may be offered subject to:

  • Product availability.
  • Seller approval (for marketplace products).
  • Compliance with return eligibility requirements.

If the requested replacement is unavailable, a refund or store credit may be offered.

7. Customized & Designer Products

Since many products on ALTMOD are created by independent designers and may involve customization:

  • Minor variations in color, embroidery, print placement, texture, stitching, or handcrafted detailing shall not be considered defects.
  • Such variations are part of the unique nature of designer and handmade products.

Refunds or returns will not be granted for these reasons.

8. Damaged or Defective Products

If a product arrives damaged or defective:

  • Notify us within 48 hours of delivery.
  • Share clear photographs and relevant details.

Claims submitted after this period may not be accepted.

9. Cancellation Before Shipment

  • Orders may be cancelled before shipment.
  • If the order has already been dispatched or production has begun for a customized product, cancellation may not be possible.

10. Refund Rejection

Refunds may be denied if:

  • The returned item is used, washed, altered, or damaged by the customer.
  • The return request is made beyond the eligible period.
  • The product falls under the non-returnable category.
  • Evidence provided does not support the claim.

11. Marketplace Products

ALTMOD may act as a marketplace connecting customers with independent designers, brands, and sellers.

In such cases:

  • Return and refund approvals may require seller verification.
  • Resolution timelines may vary depending on the seller's response.

12. Limitation of Liability

ALTMOD's maximum liability shall be limited to the amount paid for the product in question.

Under no circumstances shall ALTMOD be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of products purchased through the platform.
